Combaticons Reunite for Transformers: Fall of Cybertron

A new teaser trailer is out for Transformers: Fall of Cybertron as well as information about the Combaticons joining the fray

I am a Transformer purist at heart, enjoying the original teams of Autobots and Decepticons the most.  As the years progressed more and more strange Transformer types were added; from Dinobots to Fairytwinklecons.  One group that stood out were the Combaticons and their ability to form into the giant Bruticus.  According to GameStop, Bruticus will stomp his way into Transformers: Fall of Cybertron.  As an added bonus High Moon Studios have also released a teaser trailer for the game.

Alongside Bruticus, the Dinobots are also likely to emerge from their bizarre Mesozoic slumber, with Grimlock's T-Rex form making an appearance.  With all these robots in disguise running around, I just hope the Care Bears don't stumble upon them by accident - now there is a co-op game I would like to play.

Here is GameStop's description of the game in full:

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron transports you to the final days of the planet Cybertron where you will experience the darkest hours of the apocalyptic war between the Autobots and Decepticons. Embark on an adrenaline-fueled journey through a wide range of missions and massive environments designed around each character's unique abilities. With the stakes higher than ever before, you play as a variety of Transformers, including Grimlock's nearly indestructible T-Rex form and the legendary Combaticons forming into the colossal Bruticus. Fight through both sides of the Transformers' most epic battles leading to their legendary exodus from their homeworld. Transformers: Fall of Cybertron allows you to go head-to-head as Autobots and Decepticons with its multi-player online mode. Create your own personalized character and weaponry with the most advanced and in-depth customization ever before seen in a Transformers video game.

High Moon Studios have also released a short trailer that acts as a mood piece for the game.  Featuring Grimlock is shows that when a planet like Cybertron falls, it falls hard:

I got to admit & I know this might be abit sad to say (but whatever huh lol), I don't know who the Combaticons are. I'm a fan of transformers but not like a die hard fan if you get me. If they are going to be good as much as they sound good, then it might something I might enjoy with the game.

Bruticus was my favorite transformer for a while... but then I went back to Devastator. I kept rooting for the weak guy as all these new larger robots kept stealing the spotlight.

F****. I screamed so much. Transformers is my favourite franchise, and I've just been rewatching beast wars. I loved the first game, and now we get the Dinobots- SQUUUUEE!!!

It's a pity they never stuck to the dreamwave designs, I rather liked Grimlock as a tank...

Bruticus was always my favorite gestalt on the Decepticon side, although Menasor and Devastator were awesome too. So this is pretty awesome. Don't really understand why the Dinobots will debut in their earth forms? I too liked the Cybertronian Grimlock tank by Dreamwave. Can't complain though.

I have the G1 Bruticus, Piranacon and Devastator gestalts in my collection.

But seriously, if High Moon Studios listened to the fans they will add local co-op to this sequel. IMHO I loved the rest of the first game. I can't wait to once again transform and roll out!

If this is not on PC I will cry.
