Every Tuesday, we see new sales come to Xbox Live. This week’s sales include map packs for Halo Reach and Transformers: War for Cybertron, plus Konami’s Castlevania: Harmony of Despair XBLA game. Only Gold Xbox Live members can take advantage of the Halo Reach sale, but the other deals extend to everybody.

This week’s Xbox Live deals:

• Halo Reach – Defiant Map Pack – 400 Points (Gold members only)
• Halo Reach – Noble Map Pack – 400 Points (Gold members only)
• Castlevania: Harmony of Despair (6 player online co-op) – 600 Points
• Zombie Apocalypse (4 player online/offline co-op) - 400 Points
• Transformers: War for Cybertron – Map & Character Pack 1 – 400 Points
• Transformers: War for Cybertron – Map & Character Pack 2 – 400 Points

The Halo Reach deal timing makes sense with Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Edition fast approaching. The new game will add the original Halo maps into Reach, but it’s a good idea to make sure Reach players have the other maps too.

While deals on Castlevania: HoD are always appreciated, the regular price really should have dropped to 800 Points by now. Plus the DLC should be put on sale too, considering how important it is to the online experience.
