The Behemoth's games are certainly known for their rather unique sense of humor, solid gameplay, and fun co-operative action. BattleBlock Theater, the developer's latest and greatest, matches all three of those descriptors by placing you and your friends in the shoes of shipwrecked prisoners that are forced to perform in a kind of theater in order to gain their freedom. The prisoners and gameplay have been highlighted in a series of videos, and the latest shows off Prisoner #10304 and his fondness for things that go boom.
Now, while juggling grenades may not seem like the most co-op friendly of things (explosions with friends can be fun), as Mike highlighted in his hands-on impressions from PAX East, killing friends is just good for a laugh and holds no real consequences. The game still has a release date of "2011", so hopefully that means we'll be getting our hands on all of this good fun soon.
