Nuts. Sorry to hear the co-op isn't deeper and better. I did like the campaign more than you — I thought the health system was excellent and added much-appreciated depth to the combat — but it doesn't sound like this'll be worthwhile without three friends to play with.

^^ Agreed about the health regen and campaign.
I've been trying to decide if I want to hang onto Space Marine - but with the way Exterminatus has been described and given that I don't have any RL friends who play Space Marine, I may end up trading/selling it.

Good review! I've had fun playing around with the multiplayer, but the Exterminatus mode just doesn't have enough to keep me engaged at the moment. Good first effort, though I understand they're not likely to make a sequel. http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/vi ... -WH40K-MMO

@Jhooud
Thanks for kind words. FYI, I covered the exact same information three days before that Escapist article ran, right here on Co-Optimus:

Both articles sourced the information from Joystiq. You can read the original article here:

D'oh! Sorry I missed that! Should've done the search...still a little bummed that it doesn't seem like they'll be giving this franchise a sequel. I'm not much of an MMO person, but maybe they'll come up with something better there.

@Jhooud

No worries! Remember, THQ hasn't totally killed the series. We can still expect multiple DLC's. I really enjoyed Space Marine, despite it's flaws. (I don't grind to level 37 in MP if I hate a game.) I'd be happy if they made a sequel.
