Capcom has announced the relaunch of a brand new Resident Evil website, focusing on the upcoming 2 player co-op survival horror game Resident Evil 5.  The new site features screenshots, concept arts, wallpapers, and of course videos.  There's even a dedicated section for co-op specific videos showing off the game's two lead character cooperatively blowing zombie brains apart.

Resident Evil 5 is set to hit the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 next Spring, and features a story and gameplay built from the ground up to support co-op play.

The only RE game I ever played was the first one on Gamecube. Scared the heck out of me. As I always say though, a good Co-Op game is almost always a must-buy on my list.

I read that during TGS there was a video showing offline split-screen co-op. Is this true? I haven't seen news about this recently...
