Grand Theft Auto IV Trophy Patch Live

Rockstar has sent along word that a brand new patch for Grand Theft Auto IV on the PlayStation 3 has gone live, and with it comes trophy support for the game.  That's the good news.  The bad news is the patch is not retroactive, so you'll need to create a new game to begin earning those covetted trophies in Liberty City.

This patch also helps PS3 owners fight (or become) part of the Zombie Infestation on the online multiplayer and co-op modes.

Was there a Xbox 360 patch? I liked to know when these come out instead of always being surprised

This may or may not convince me to actually finish the game this time around. The first playthrough I had got maybe halfway through the story when I upgraded my harddrive and forgot to backup my saves. Second time just got the the Vlad missions at the beginning.

But with all the stuff coming out this fall, probably won't get around to playing until late winter/early spring.

if it's like the 360 version, I think you can make a custom game mode with infinite respawns.

No you CAN play it by yourself, but the FUN is playing WITH others not AGAINST others.
