A good chunk of the staff is spending their Friday night with the awesome Co-Optimus community playing the PC game Magicka in glorious and explosive 4 player co-op. After that there's plenty of other releases to be had with the likes of Dungeon Defenders, Saints Row, and many other solid titles to occupy our time. With temperatures below freezing around a lot of the United States this weekend it's a good time to catch up on said gaming.
Nick "bapenguin" Puleo - "I'll be continuing my romp through Saints Row the Third as well as casting spells in tonight's Magicka co-op night."
Marc "DjinniMan" Allie - "I don't foresee much gaming time this weekend, but I might be able to squeeze in some Trine 2 time with the kids at some point."
Andrew "Cubninja" Gaskill - "Last night, I finally fired up my copy of Skyrim. I'll be playing Dark Souls this weekend."
Mike "Pheriannath" Katsufrakis - "I'll be setting up macros on my keyboard to keep up with Magicka, as well as some Super Mario 3D Land while I'm on the go."
Paul "EastX" Acevedo - "I plan on a nice run through Jason's favorite game, Onechanbara: Bikini Samurai Squad, as I prepare to check out the import sequel, and I'll be checking out Choplifter HD as well."
Jason "OrigamiPanther" Love - "I'll be sticking to the physical media of things as I partake in a weekend filled with nothing but board and card games!"
Eric "smurphster" Murphy - "I'll be lighting my co-op buddies on fire in Magicka tonight for our co-op night. Halo Anniversary needs to be finished and I'd like to sneak in some Dungeon Defenders as well (360 or PC)."
Tally "xelissa" Callahan - "I'll continue playing catch-up with my PSP games and getting back into the Old Republic since I'm home again!"
Sam "Samoza" Tyler - "My main co-op pal is back from Japan so I expect a gaming bonanza this weekend; Gears of War 3, Saints Row: The Third, Earth Defense Force, Cursed Crusade, Ms Splosion Man, Call of Juarez: The Cartel - and more!"
Locke Vincent - "I'll be playing cyberpunk detective in Deus Ex Human Revolution as well as donning my robe and wizard hat in our Magika Co-Op night. "
