Assassin's Creed III Reveal

There were rumors abound about what the next Assassin's Creed game would entail, but the latest Game Informer finally has the truth. The war between the Templars and Assassins that has spanned across Europe and Constantinople (not Istanbul) in order to claim the Pieces of Eden will now find its way across the pond to the New World during a time of great strife and historical significance: the American Revolution. The cover of the latest GI shows an as-of-yet unnamed Assassin in the typical white garb and dagged hood wielding a hatchet and a flint lock pistol.

Not much else has been revealed at this point, so the speculation of what the game will entail is still up for grabs.

Stan Lee Man Does Whatever a Stan Lee Can

Anyone who's seen any of the Marvel movies released over the past decade knows that comic legend Stan Lee, creator of many of the characters featured in these films, has made a brief cameo in the films in what essentially amounts to a sly wink and nod to comic fans. Stan is taking this to the next level as the man, the myth, the legend himself has revealed that he'll be a playable character in Beenox's upcoming Amazing Spider-Man game. It's probably one of the more interesting announcements to come out about a video game in a while and leads one to questions about what that means. Is he just an alternative skin for the infamous webslinger? Will he have his own superpowers? Regardless, true believers perhaps have a little more to look forward to when Amazing Spider-Man hits store shelves this June. Excelsior!
