PlayStation Plus members are once again being treated to a stellar month of perks. Sony's online subscription service is offering up several free games this May. My subscription paid for itself last month, and I'm looking forward to adding to my collection.

Plus members can expect to recieve two free co-op games on May Day: Trine 2 and Awesomenauts. They'll also get early access to the two player local co-op music mixing game, PixelJunk 4am's Closed Viewer beta, whatever that is. Rounding out the free items are Rock of Ages, the awesomely old-school Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, and the less awesome Castlevania Chronicles. Plus members will also have access to several discounts, trials, avatars, and themes. Check out the list after the break.

I gotta give Sony credit for doing this paid membership right!

I'm stoked about Trine 2 being free. I had a feeling that it was going to happen because it was free for EU PS Plus a couple months ago. This is another example of me wanting the game but purposefully not buying it because I figured it would be free if I waited. The only negative I can see with PS Plus is that if you buy most things when they come out then you will feel ripped off when it is offered for free several months later.

I'm also planning to pick-up Rayman Origins because $15 is a great deal.
