False Alarm - Fable 2 News Coming Next Week

False alarm folks.  The Fable 2 news of the news that we previously reported as news?  Yeah, not gonna happen this week.  According to the Official Lionhead Blog, Microsoft said - no, you may not tell the world your awesome little secret...yet.   Ok, so they didn't say exactly that, but that's more or less the jist of it.

Lionhead assures us the announcement WILL take place on November 24th.  So take this news post as news of the news that was canceled but will be news again on November 24th.  Got it?  Good.

Until then, enjoy the NXE and check out the new Fable 2 theme...total hotness.

1. That theme rocks.

2. The two Gamertags in those screens are going to be spammed hardcore.

I wish the new themes were free, MS is bad about prices for Marketplace items because you can't get it anywhere else. It's a monopoly!

I get a ton of free themes on my PS3, Microsoft should follow suit with the NXE. Any why is it that we're constantly slapped in the face with Fable releases and anything to do with Fable, I think I may trade it in to get L4D...

Microsoft seems to like doing this to devs this year. First Bungie with Recon at E3, now Fable.

This move screams DLC; there's really no other reason to delay it. MS wants people to focus on the new dash this week, then let Fable have it's own spotlight next week.
