Color Equals Gravity in New Indie Puzzle Platformer, Colour Bind

Using the forces of gravity with… colours (also known as “colors” in the Western world), Colour Bind takes an original approach to gravity-based mechanics in a thinking man's game. If you’re big on puzzle games (especially ones with co-op content) then this is a title that you might want to take a look into.

Colour Bind is a puzzle platformer that involves color-based physics; a brand new concept to most, but certainly one we’re willing to take a spin when released. Indie developer, Puppy Punch Productions, introduces its new gravity mechanic by having the colors of an object determine its level of gravity rather than their mass/weight. Set in an abstract, arcade like world, players must navigate a vehicular object it through gravity manipulation to solve each level’s unique puzzle. Extreme patience, intelligence, quick reflexes, and even friendly, co-operative help are definite necessities to beat these mind-bending, challenging puzzles.

Now, our writing can only do so much when explaining Colour Bind, so we’ve provided a trailer commentated by creator, Finn Morgan, to help explain the game’s mechanics further. After you take a look, read on to get a quick rundown of some of the main features, such as 2-player local co-op gameplay, Colour Bind will be offering gamers looking for a puzzler. Enjoy:
