Our Weekend in Gaming - Mann vs Queue Edition

News
Twitter facebook googlebuzz

Many were surprised to see Team Fortress 2 suddenly add a co-op mode this week, and many were even more surprised to see it become so popular you had to wait an HOUR to get into a match.  Never the less, that's where we are at.  A few of the staff hope to get some matches in, while the rest work on that precious back log.

Also - this is your weekly reminder to download (rate and purchase too) SCHAR: Blue Shield Alliance on Xbox Live Indie Games.  Do it...because if you don't, I will be forced to eat sand for breakfast.

Nick "bapenguin" Puleo (@NickPuleo) - "I started up Batman: Arkham City and will be beating up thugs in that.  Hopefully I'll be able to check out TF2's, Mann vs Machine mode...if I can get past the queues."

Andrew "Cubninja" Gaskill (@cubninja) - "My wife and I will be finishing up Borderlands. I may try to tackle some of my backlog before stuff gets real next month. "

Mike "Pheriannath" Katsufrakis (@Pheriannath) - "I'll primarily be playing Darksiders 2, but I hope to get a few more rounds of Team Fortress 2's new Mann vs. Machine mode as well."

Marc "DjinniMan" Allie (@DjinniMan- "Probably just some more Rayman Origins for us, and maybe a little progress in Halo 2 as well."

Jason "OrigamiPanther" Love (@JLove55- Is buried in work.

Paul "EastX" Acevedo (@SegaCon) - "Iron Brigade, Kung Fu Strike, LEGO Batman 2, and maybe some Dungeon Fighter LIVE or Bejeweled 3 for me. Plus a short family vacation starting on Sunday!"

Eric "smurphster" Murphy (@smurph_em)- "This weekend is the Murphy Family Camp-O-Rama 2012, which means three days of utter chaos in the Wisconsin wilderness. If I make it out alive, I might squeeze something in Sunday night."

Sam "Samoza" Tyler (@reelsamtyler) - "I'm at a pals this weekend and we will be celebrating the return of the football Premier League by playing Pro Evo 2012 in co-op."

Locke Vincent (@LockeVincent- "At the lake, which means we're board gaming. The Resistance, Hawaii, Amun-Re, and the co-op favorite - Letters for Whitechapel. "

Tally "xelissa" Callahan - "I'll be picking through my backlog in anticipation for the headstart of Guild Wars 2 next weekend. Better get some stuff cleared out of the way, because my gaming time will soon be dominated by that!"

Chris "The Lemko" Metz (@The_Lemko- "Not much gaming will be going on for me this weekend (preparing for my move in a few weeks), but I hope to do some more mobile stuff and possible play League of Legends with a friend or two."

What are you going to be playing?

Got some friends coming around, and will likely be playing space alert for some table-top co-op goodness.
