The incredibly difficult to pronounce side scrolling shooter for PlayStation Network is now available to download for $9.99. Soldner-X: Himmelssturmer is a two player side scrolling shooter similar to the Gradius series. The game actually saw a PC release last year, but the latest version is all spiffed up PlayStation style.

Soldner-X: Himmelssturmer supports two player offline co-op mode. Sorry kids, no online here.

Played the PC version some time ago, didn't really like it.

Normally I enjoy a good vertical shooter, but Soldner didn't life up to my expectations...

Don't know how much the game has changed. But the whole look of the game didn't appeal to me.
