Splinter Cell: Blacklist Release Date Announced by Ubisoft, 'Inauguration' Trailer Revealed

Are we witnessing a President Hillary Clinton in this game?

It seems that Sam Fisher and the gang won’t be making an appearance until later this summer. Ubisoft has just announced Splinter Cell: Black List’s official release date, delaying the game good handful of months than previously predicted.

Last year, we covered how Amazon UK leaked Blacklist’s release date on their online stores for March. Ubisoft has since given us a nice flash forward for what’s to come at the start of the fall 2013 game releases. Blacklist will now officially be arriving in stores on August 20th in the United States and August 23rd in the UK for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Sorry for Nintendo fans in advance, because nothing new has been confirmed on the Wii U side of things.

In the meantime, take a look at the newly released "Inauguration" trailer below and have a glimpse of presidential history added into the game:

As stated before, if you preorder Blacklist at either: GameStop, Amazon, or BestBuy, you can look forward to some nice in-game bonuses to compliment the title, such as the Upper Echelon suit and golden sonar goggles, one being a special co-op mission called: “Dead Coast”. Until then, look forward to this badass looking co-op game to come out by the end of August.
