Generation Zero

Gamers come in all shapes and sizes. While some enjoy puzzle and strategy games such as Minecraft, others prefer playing gambling games like Casumo live roulette. Many gamers, of course, love to play first-person shooter games. Generation Zero is one of the best FPS co-op games around. Set in a post-apocalyptic alternative-reality Sweden, the open-world survival game Generation Zero can be played online with up to three other players. The Sweden in Generation Zero has been overrun by killer robots, which range in size from small drones to giant bots that loom over houses. Playing as a teenager, it’s up to you to survive the alternate-Sweden’s wilderness while trying to find a way to defeat the evil machines.

Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide

One of the most popular titles in the Warhammer Fantasy Universe, this first-person shooter action game is set in the End Times. You can team up with three other players to battle against the evil race of rodent-like creatures known as the Skaven. At the end of each match, you are given the opportunity to roll the dice to determine which weapons you’ll be awarded. Any fan of Warhammer games is sure to love playing Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide, and it’s about as faithful to the original Warhammer franchise of games as you can get, which was largely helped by Games Workshop collaborating with the Fatshark game developers to create this thrilling game.

Blacklight: Retribution

Within a month of its release, Blacklight: Retribution achieved one million players. The cyberpunk, arena-style first-person shooter is free to play. The thrilling game is set in the near future when mainstream society has mostly collapsed. The gameplay is centered around the inner-city areas of Asian metropolises. Blacklight: Retribution features a lot of fantastic game modes, including a training mode, and a variety of unique weapons, including the Hyper Reality Vizor that enables you to locate hazards and obstacles by seeing through walls. As you complete matches, you are rewarded with additional weapons and other items like armor, skins, and tags.

Borderlands

The hugely successful Borderlands game may be over a decade old, but it’s still one of the most thrilling first-person shooter co-op games around. The first game in the Borderlands series follows a group of four Vault Hunters traveling to a planet called Pandora to search for an item known as The Vault, which is thought to contain alien tech and other treasures. As one of the Vault Hunters, you must piece together clues to find The Vault. Along the way, you get to fight Pandora’s savage wildlife, bandits, and outlaws. There are loads of ways of exploring the in-game world of Borderlands, and in addition to the main missions, you can embark on side quests, in either single-player or online cooperative gameplay mode. The latter provides additional options for fights and competitive matches in designated areas.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

The sixth installment in the classic Call of Duty series is arguably the best. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 follows the multinational special forces unit Task Force 141 and the US Army Rangers who are defending Washington DC from a Russian invasion. Playable characters are Sergeant Gary “Roach'' Sanderson, Private James Ramirez, and Captain MacTavish, who all attempt to find their attackers and bring the bloodshed to an end. Set five years after the events of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, this sequel has an expansive multiplayer mode with several new features and modes.
