There is something awesome about being able to share a good co-op game with your kids. As many of you know I have a four year old son whose passion for gaming began simply enough with a Spongebob game on the Gameboy, which slowly evovled into co-op with Dad on Star Wars Battlefront 2, and has now moved onto more recent games such as LOTR War in the North
Now mind you when he first set out with the xbox controller it was alien to him, using both sticks seemed to confuse him but with encouragement from Dad he is slowly picking it up and killing bad guys right alongside Dad, he even figured out on LOTR how to use ranged attacked while I keep them within melee range... did I also mention he runs away and lets me fight all the boss monsters.
It is just amazing at how fast he has picked it up and how this has turned into a postive reward for him when he behaves at home for my wife and at school. I have always wanted to share my love of gaming with my kids and it makes me happy knowing that I will be able to co-op with my son for years to come.
