An open letter to Co-optimus, its staff and its community.

I recently casually mentioned a little problem I’m facing with things at home in a post. It’s not a big deal, just something I’m up against. I wasn’t expecting any real reactions about it; I was just sort of mentioning it because even though there are things that stress me out, there are things like co-optimus and contests and other fun things out there that help balance out that frustration. Anyway, I had a few comments on the thread that were quite thoughtful and one member even sent me a PM offering me some Playstation point credit to help fund some fun gametime in this rough patch of life. What a thoughtful thing! I don’t know many places online where you would get reactions like that.

I just wanted to say that the people that choose to be here at this site are some of the friendliest people I’ve had the privilege to meet online. Seems these days many people hide behind the anonymity of the internet to lash out and be hurtful to people.  Not the people here for the most part though. Maybe it’s the cooperative nature of the site that draws higher quality people here? I’m not sure, but I’ve experienced friendly, helpful people here time and time again. Always willing to help people solve technical problems, lend them support, or just casually play though a game.

I just wanted to say thanks to you all for being so great. It is noticed and appreciated.
