Mrxknown's Backlog and To-Do list of 2011
This is the continuation of a series I have been doing each year. For the entertainment and education of the masses. You can view links of the previous installments at the bottom.
The following is a list of gaming tasks I want to tackle for the 2011 year. Now keep in mind, this is just a list of things I want to do, not a challenge to myself, but more of a way for me to keep straight what is coming and what has come in terms of games. Order matters as there are some games that are easier for me to obtain and others I may have to buy/rent.
Since I am living on my own after college and have a vastly different schedule than before, I don't think I will be able to touch half of this list. As I can only play games on the weekends (anytime Saturday, during the day Sunday). And even than I may find myself not playing games when I could.
At least I will be able to look back and recall what games I was thinking about and potentially may forget due to unforseen events.

The following is my list of games I want to play, achievements I wish to gain, and other game-related tasks. Some co-op, some not. Red means it's accomplished, Dark Orange means it's in progress. Blue means it's been removed cause no good things were said about it or lack of interest.
Earn GTAIV's Liberty City Minute Achievement -> I'm about 15 hours in, and I'm already on the third island. No sidequests, using Taxis to "warp" to destinations faster. Beat GTAIV's The Ballad of Gay Tony: Played it a bit in the fall. It's a fun game and looking forward to it. Beat All Activities in Saint's Row 2 with Co-op - Play Castle Crashers with Co-op -> I'm at level 12. I need to get those Co-op Achievements Beat Gears of War with Co-op-> Stopped after finding the first dead Carmie Beat Halo Wars in co-op -> was in progress until Sacred 2 came out. Now I gotta wait for a partner. Need to beat missions from 7 and up on co-op Beat Borderlands Solo - As I find it distracting when people know the ins and outs of a game before I can experience it myself. Plus I like to pay attention to the story no matter how useless it is. Beat GTAIV co-op mission times on MP Beat Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare Beat Red Dead Redemption: Co-op Missions - prefer 4 players no randoms Beat All the new Gang Hideouts in Red Dead Redemption Play more Halo: Reach! Beat Mass Effect 2 on Insanity Beat Mass Effect 2 with Renegade character Buy Mass Effect 2 DLC - Shadow Broker, Overload, Kasumi -> Thoughts anyone? I would have bought them on sale during Xmas if I heard they were on sale. Instead bough Undead Nightmare Buy Batman Arkham City - Already preordered, the first game I ever preordered months in advance. Buy Mass Effect 3 - Buy Saint's Row 3 - Rent Portal 2 - Rent X-Men Destiny - RPG with a create your own mutant with powers? Yes please! Rent Duke Nukem Forever - Rent LA Noire - Rent Halo: Remake - I'd love to play the original without the 360 giving me glitches Rent Tom Clany's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier - Rent FEAR 3 -never beaten a single version of the series. But co-op sounds cool. Rent Brink - don't really care for the Team Versus gameplay and the similarityy with Unreal's "campaign but it's really MP levels" style. Rent Operation Flashpoint: Red River - If it's better than the last one, I may just buy it. Rent XCOM - Looked up the series after the announcement, looks good Rent Gears of War 3 - If it is good enough I may go back and buy Gears of War 2 Rent Crysis 2 - Rent Homefront - Rent Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Beat Halo 3 on Legendary and with all skulls on Co-op style. 4-players preferred. Beat Halo 3: ODST with all skulls on Legendary -> 4 players preferred Beat Gears of War 2 with Co-op-> Played a few select levels at what seems to be a research facility on co-op, need to start from the beginning. Possibly Buy - Prey - As there is a sequel coming out and I would love to finish the first game. Rent Alpha Protocol Rent Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood Obtain First Strike Medal in Halo Reach -> Thanks Tronada! Obtain Achievements in Left 4 Dead 2 -> Thanks Biohzrd451 & Lacey Obtain Quarian Ally in Mass Effect Beat Mass Effect on InsanityNOTE: For games listed an Rent, those most likely will not be played on my main gamertag. As such, I will only play them online if the experience is good enough
