Well, it's the start of another year, hopefully one full of great games. But this year I'm going to try something more than just playing them. For a long time now, I've had a list of video game related topics I long to have an intelligent discussion about and I think that Co-optimus is a perfect place to get the kind of discourse I'm looking for.
To that end, I'm going to attempt a weekly blog series called Talking Points. My plan is to once a week make a small rant about a topic related to gaming, then open it up for discussion to the Co-optimus crowd. My goal in doing this is not to antagonize anyone, create controversy, or to try and convince you that my opinion is right or that someone else's is wrong. I am merely going to introduce a topic and give my thoughts on it, and (hopefully) a serious discussion will come out of it. You are more then welcome to disagree with what I say, in fact I welcome it. I only ask that you be civil in your comments. Respect my opinions and I'll respect yours. Some of these topics may be somewhat controversial, but it's my hope we can be mature enough to avoid name calling, flaming, trolling, etc.
I hope something good can come out of this crazy experiment of mine and I ask in advance for your forgiveness as I blunder my way through the English language. I look forward to hearing what Co-optimus has to say!
