MMO Co-Opportunities Volume XXXIX - Page 2

The Wildstar Class Drops Continue

Wildstar has been busy this past month and a half with “class drops” and weekly Twitch livestreams highlighting each class. Last month on MMOCO, we showed off the Warrior. Since then, four other classes have been featured. These include the previously announced Stalker, Esper, and Spellslinger, as well as the very recently announced Medic. The Engineer was also announced and will probably be up for next week.

Since that’s an awful lot to look at all at once, I’ve narrowed the videos to include here down to two: 1) the Wildstar “Flick” (a cinematic video created by using in-game assets) overviewing the different classes in a comical fashion and 2) the most recently featured class (and the one I’m personally looking forward to the most), the Medic:

Browser-based Eldevin Officially Launched

You may not have heard of Eldevin. It was quietly launched at the end of November, and it may have not sent out a blip on your radar. Eldevin is a free-to-play, browser-based MMO. I played it some in beta and quite enjoyed it. The game is surprisingly robust, complete with crafting, extremely customizable character progression, quests, dungeons, and even PVP. The graphics might not exactly be cutting-edge, but remember it’s browser-based - it looks a heck of a lot better than many other browser-based games I’ve played. When I played it, I especially enjoyed the crafting system. It felt relaxing. The game has a decidedly old-school MMO feel to it, which I very much like. The launch video is below:
