The NES is arguably the greatest video game system of all time. Nintendo's first home console saved the video game industry, and most gamers look back on the system fondly. Recently, I sat down and played through some of my favorite NES games with my son, and recorded the experience for lucky Co-Optimus viewers. In my happy memories, I somehow didn't remember the games being quite this way...

LOVED IT! I was wondering how much friendly fire there was in Battletoads and then you went to the trouble of calculating it - hehehe

I'm looking forward to the day I have kids and get to run them through Golden Axe or Streets of Rage 2... and if they survive that, we'll go back a generation to stuff like Time Soldiers, Secret Command, Rampage, Double Dragon, Scrambled Spirits and tag team it through Ninja Gaiden on the Sega Master System.

Wow funny to see battletoads on there, the other day driving with my wife we were talking about the NES and she mentions Battletoads out of nowhere and I was suddenly reminded why I love her so much.
