Castle Crashers is 1800 MS Points [RUMOR]

Well folks, it looks like the castle may have just crashed. The long awaited and frequently covered Castle Crashers may have just set in a new record in Xbox Live Arcade pricing - 1800 MS Points. That's $22.50 in "real" money. While we have seen a few arcade titles hit the 1600 point barrier, they are few and far between.
We'll let you know if this is official as soon as we here it, but we have to admit we are slightly dissapointed. The game is going to have to have some serious replay value to be worth that much coin.

1600 was beyond the price point I'd pay, looks like this will stay a "Trial" on my HD if it's that expensive.

Anything past $10 and I would want to have a physical copy.
I would even be fine with a $20 price tag even if they sent a bare-bones disc only copy. Not to crazy about the fact that the games I buy can't be played on any 360 but my own.
I will still prob buy this game anyways....maybe.

RE:Castle Crashers is 1800 MS Points [RUMOR]
UPDATE via Castle Crashers dev blog Earlier today a story broke about the Japanese Xbox site reporting that Castle Crashers was slated for release at 1800 Microsoft Points. Pricing for this game has not been determined yet. Both The Behemoth and Microsoft are still working together to figure out a reasonable price point. (not 1800 points) One thing that we would like to point out is that much like a retail store Microsoft is the distributor for all Arcade titles, and therefore sets the final price. The developer can consult on this, but ultimately, pricing is at the discretion of the distributor (Microsoft). source: http://devblog.thebehemoth.com/?p=274

BTW, you can play this game on any Xbox 360 (any arcade title) so long as you are signed into Xbox Live. You can just take your memory unit or HDD with you, put it on the other Xbox, sign in and play.

 RE:Castle Crashers is NOT 1800 MS Points...Yet.
If you're on Xbox Live, and you're older and mature (preferrably 21 and older) and you're looking for people to play co-op games like this with, send friend request to MatureCoOp1 and the friends of friends feature on Xbox Live to find people to play with. This is a silver account that I set up, so I can't send messages or play games with it.
