I'll get the cut-scene question answered as soon as I get a chance to play online again.

You don't have to pay for more Spartan Ops for "Season One," which is cool, I'm not complaining; but the very fact they're calling it "Season One" tells me there will be future seasons, likely with Halo 4 not just on the next installments of the franchise, and you will likely have to pay more for that.

Again, not complaining, I likely will as long as the story is as good as it is supposed to be, but just for clarity's sake.

Any infos about rewards for playing coop? for example in GOW3 you can level up in coop and you have achievements and medals to earn. so youhave a reason to play the coop parts again. i heard halo 4 wont have any rewards for spartan ops....

So, they took out guests in splitscreen online? That's pretty lame.

You can play versus with a guest, I've seen Gamertags with the (1) after it or whatever. But for some reason it won't let you do the campaign. And Spartan Ops requires a Gold account all around.

I was getting ready to give them a pass for not allowing 2nd player guest accounts because I thought there might be a technical reason for it. If they are allowing it for competitive games, there is no reason they shouldn't allow it for campaign and spartan ops games.

I really thought that Microsoft would start to loosen their Xbox Gold multiplayer restrictions as time went on, but it seems like they are doubling down. If PS3, Wii U and PC continue to have free multiplayer, I don't see how Microsoft can keep charging into the next generation of consoles.

I don't like this whole co-op episode and seasons setup. I don't want someone else deciding what I get to play at any given time.

I'd much rather have all of it available and unlocked through play, rather than at the convenience of the developer. Because it is quite obviously just a ruse to keep us playing (And paying, if we want to play online - Not to mention future seasons and map packs) for longer.

But whatever really, I'm not buying this game anyway. Not until they release a complete edition with everything on disc. I don't care if it's free, I'd still prefer it on disc rather than downloadable.

Okay, that stings less. But that's odd. I wonder why they went with three different infrastructures for each mode...?

My question centers around this. The wording was at best ambiguous - I believe it was "Each week a new selection of missions to choose from". Are they really only available on a Developer's Choice basis or do we have access to all back episodes? While I get they're going for a TV vibe, playing "reruns" out of order doesn't sound great; And what if you have a friend who just picked up the game, do you have for them to decide to let you play the opening episodes again?

Yes. An online game can only be played if both players have a Gold account. Otherwise you are restricted to local co-op play. is this right because I play with my gold account with a guest and it works fine :(
