The "exclusive" Dead Space 3 demo was released yesterday on Xbox Live, that is if you managed to get a code for it.  Last night Andrew and I tackled it head on, myself jumping into the boots of Isaac Clarke and Andrew playing as John Carver.  While I'm a Dead Space veteran having played both the original games, Andrew has only brief familiarity with the series.

These games are still the only games that have ever made me jump or made me nervous to play.

I played through the demo too, and the only thing that was a bit odd is that every weapon uses an universal ammo. Besides that I felt that it's still the game I loved back in Dead Space 1 and 2, but with some improvements.
...also remember that you can get lots of ammo, and those are universal to all of your weapons, BUT if you happen to lose them, then NONE of your weapons will have ammo. There goes the scary part about this *winks*
