Post Halo Wars Achievements Revealed, Co-Op Included

Achievements are all the rage these days.  All the cool kids are getting them, so you probably don't want to feel left out, do you?  Luckily Halo Wars for the Xbox 360 includes these little doohickeys at no cost to you...and best of all?  You'll spot some co-op friendly achievements upon entering the battlefield.

Perhaps completing the entire campaign with a friend entices you to 40GP?  Oh, there's more, but you'll have to keep reading to find out.

If only you could do this on one X360... If that would be possible I'd pre-order this in no time.

Sounds pretty good, but I am extremely leery about RTS games on the consoles.... it just makes me feel so dirty lol.

Ug, no local. I was hoping this might have split screen (didn't look until now).

Anyway, exciting that the entire campaign can be played coop.

There's no way they could make the game split screen. An RTS is all about the interface and splitting it in half and shrinking it would make it completely unusable.

In a traditional RTS, I would agree. But console RTS makers have been seeking ways to simplify and streamline the interface. I can envision an RTS interface on a console that could accomplish split screen. Would it be effective, that's another question.

Also, given the history of local multiplayer being so important in the Halo series, I didn't think it was out of the realm of possibility that an attempt at local coop would be tried for this RTS outing.
