For raw curiosity, Demigod tops my list. I've been itching to play since the first time I saw it.

Resident Evil 5 should be very good, but from what I have heard, managing ammo between both players can become quite a chore. Also: being unable to move and shoot at the same time annoys the hell out of me. I want to be able to at least TRY to dodge attacks while I'm aiming.

Monster Hunter 3, IF it will be released BTW Jason! There's a mod for AVP2 and you can play Coop with that (if it works...), it's called X-Coop

Re: Our Most Anticipated Co-Op Titles for 2009
Im looking forward to Colonial Marines. I missed out on Left 4 Dead, so if Aliens will be anything like it, then I'll be excited. Plus I just love the entire Alien universe, and am looking forward to playing a game with some friends that takes place there.

Colonial Marines is on the top of my list, hoping they follow a similar style as L4D did.

"wilder" days of PC gaming and the copies I had may not have been entirely legit, shall we say, so I don't have them anymore. However, I know they're cheap to pick up now and if I get the urge, I'll certainly be sure to get the mod too.

Sigh, looks like none of these support local co-op, which is what really appeals to me.

 RE:Our Most Anticipated Co-Op Titles for 2009
Well, the information-page for Colonial marines has checked the "split screen" option, so hopefully the local co-op. cross is an error.
Also, Marvel Ultimate Alliance should support local co-op!
--I agree, local co-op is the reason I play co-op!

Re: Our Most Anticipated Co-Op Titles for 2009
Borderlands and Aliens: Colonial Marines are my biggest anticipated titles. But I'm hesitant about Aliens because of the lack of details how the co-op functions with each character having distinct classes.

 RE:Our Most Anticipated Co-Op Titles for 2009
I'm with JG, Aliens SOUNDS awesome so far, but these great titles have a way of getting screwed up before release (looking at you, Fable II).

Re: Our Most Anticipated Co-Op Titles for 2009
1. Borderlands (360) - An ever changing world with 4-way co-op (a la L4D) set in a futuristic wasteland (a la Road Warrior) that lets you develop your character and collect loot (a la Diablo). YES PLEASE!
2. Sacred 2 (360) - Not interested in the PC version because it's no Diablo. But I am interested in the 360 version because it tries to be Diablo and because XBox Live will give something this game needs: a community!
3. Aliens: Colonial Marines (360) - The first time I played a full game of L4D, one thought came to my mind, how cool would this be if someone did a full conversion of the game replacing zombies with aliens and survivors with colonial marines? Seems someone else had a similar idea. I doubt it'll be in L4D's league, but with co-op it should still be a blast!
4. Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 (360) - One of the most fun local co-op beat-em up RPG's gets a sequel!
5. L4D DLC (360) - Ok, so this isn't a game per se. They could put it on a disk, package it in a case and sell it in stores as a new game and I'd buy it.
