Post "Deathbringer" is a New Action/RPG/Puzzle Game Featuring Co-Op

Did you like Puzzle Quest?  Of course you did.  Did lord Diablo tickle your fancy?  I know, silly question.  Now what if we combined those two games?  It may sound odd, but that's exactly what Puzzle Quest developer Infinite Interactive is doing in Deathbringer for the PC, 360, PS3 and Wii.

The game promises persistant heroes in a huge world with randomly generated dungeons.  Along with a main quest line players will have sidequests and challenges to unlock.  The gameplay is all realtime and has a focus on a companion system.

What does this mean?  You guessed it...co-op!

Deathbringer supports a 2 player co-op mode through the entire game.  Score!  We'll definitely be watching this one closely, though no release time frame has been issued.

I hope co-op is local! I think this will be a great game to play co-op with your wife/gf. Women tend to like puzzle games and RPGs!

For example, the favorite games of my wife are puzzle quest, Baldur's Gate for the consoles (a Diablo clone) and tower defense games.

I am not sure if I get it. Is it like a Hack and Slash game with puzzle elements?

Yup. I imagine the puzzle times will come for solving..uh..puzzles. Like for instance maybe for opening a door in the dungeon or something.
