Post Co-Opticast Episode 17: Army of Two: Army of Three

In our most action packed episode ever, Mike and Nick are joined by Andrew "TrackZero" Hodder to discuss this week's co-op news, what defines co-op (to us), and the Army of Two: The Fortieth Day Community Day! GTA: Chinatown Wars is reviewed and we wax nostalgic as we discuss remakes we'd love to see happen. What are you waiting for? Hit the podcast page to listen!

When we say "Action Packed" - well - we mean it damn it.

I gave this a listen last night, and I have to say it was one of the best episodes. I liked having the in depth Army of Two 2 segment, especially. It's always good to get more than just the stuff on the site when you listen. It does need more... me, however. :)

I'll thumb-wrestle you for it!

Great cast guys. The sound was a lot better, clearer, and less gritty than last time.

I have to say I would love to see General Chaos again! That game took up so much of my time back in the Sega days.

The new Army of Two game sounds great. I havent played the first one yet, but I should be getting in from Gamefly within the next day or two.

Glad you guys liked this episode, I put a little more time into planning it than we usually do. I'll be trying to pack in more actual "discussion" into future episodes.

From now on, Nick and I are going to alternate taking the hot seat for hosting. We'll see how that works! ;-)

There are not 5 million guns, they said it's at least 650,000 guns.

I have to disagree with Nick's definition of co-op has to have a character progression.

I love Halo Wars story-mode & Skirmish. I won't buy it, but I love it.

Another thing is, Halo series has never had character progression. Whatever weapons you have at the end of a level disappear in the next level. There's only story progression.

RTS are very much co-op, when they have it. By having another person there, you can divide up the tasks and hopefully use the units a lot more
