Post Guitar Hero 5 Gets Even More Co-Op Friendly

Hot on the heels of, well, pretty much every other Guitar Hero release, comes news of Guitar Hero 5.  The game was announced, to no one's surprise, just over a week ago and now we have the first details, including a couple screenshots showing off the new art style, and even some of the artists featured on the soundtrack.

The biggest addition is allowing players to mix and match instruments as they like.  No longer will you be restricted to two guitars, drums, and a microphone.  Go all rhythm with 3 drummers and a bassist, test your harmonies with four singers, whatever you like!  Party Play mode will include easy drop in drop out, and changing difficulty levels on the fly, even mid-song.  That sounds quite co-op friendly!

This is good. Because no one likes singing.

Great additions. This is the first GH game I'm actually the slightest bit interested in since the Neversoft switch.

In order to one-up GH, I'm fully expecting Rockband2: The Lynyrd Skynyrd Edition to be announced at E3.

Full set contains 4 guitars, 2 drum sets, 6 microphones, and 3 USB hubs.
