Once upon a time, in a land far away, there lived four characters who craved fame.  You see, they used to be the talk of the kingdom – boys and girls around the entire world loved them, and their names were recognizable wherever one would go.  Things change, new stories get told, and beloved old storytime characters get lost in the shuffle.  You ever stop to think that maybe those characters don’t want to fade away?  That maybe they’ll do anything to get back in the limelight of their former glory?  In Playlogic and Game Factory’s Fairytale Fights, this is exactly the case – and things get bloody.  Very bloody.

This game looks like too much fun. I dig alternative takes on traditional characters/tales.

I still think they are bonkers for dropping it during the holiday season though. It just seems like a game that will be completely overlooked in favor of higher profile releases.

For some reason I had it in my head that the game would be a $10 downloadable game. I didnt realize it was a full-disc game.

It sounds awesome. I like the idea of combat with the right analog, something that I first tried out in Fight Night Round 4. Its a very awesome concept, and I can see it working wonders when hacking away with rusty blades.

Also love the drop in/out online play. Super sweet.

Im ever-so tempted to get this, but unfortunately as far as hack-and-slash type games go, MUA2 is gonna surpass this one. Maybe I'll pick it up at Christmas time, if Toys R Us does their BTGO deal. Depends on what else I want.
