Overlord II comes out today on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.   The game places players in the role of an Evil Overlord, who while in control of his minions, is capable of creating havok across the land.  It's an over the top game that's incredibly entertaining, filled with a ton of personality.

There's a two player online co-op mode which features a few scenarios.  The first Arena mode sounds a bit like the ever popular Horde modes we are seeing in games.  Kill A General has players working together across lands to, yup, defeat a general.

This demo was phenomenal! I'm glad to see a sequel after the greatness that was the first one!

I will wait for Co-optimus review on Overlord 2 co-op modes

I bought it today (release date) I pre-ordered it on monday. Fun so far...

By the way, did you ever review Overlord 1? It had online co-op too I believe

For some reason, I wsa under the impression that this game had local co-op, and co-op through the main campaign. Is that not the case?

it has a single player story game and a local splitscreen skirmish setup from what i can tell. I can't test the coop side till Thursday but the single player is nice.

There are two co-op modes. Arena, which is a survival type of gameplay. And Assault, which I'm not sure of the details on (since no one I know has gotten to try it yet), but it sounds a bit like individual co-op levels that lead to a boss fight. The main campaign though is single player.
