As anyone with a pulse will know, LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures is coming out in 2008, fulfilling the dreams of millions. Not only do we have LEGO Star Wars and the promise of LEGO Batman, but Lucasarts (and Traveller's Tales) are apparently completing the gaming equivalent of Oprah's Big Wish by giving gamers Indiana Jones in LEGO format. PALGN Xbox 360 has details from the next game in the LEGO (+ classic movie) series. The LEGO Star Wars games have always been fun 2 player co-op games, and LEGO Indiana Jones appears to be no different.
The game had some rather floaty controls that would cause us to do silly things at times, but for the most part, they actually suited this style of play. It's clear that the game is almost specifically designed for co-op play, and you'll get the most out of it by playing through with a buddy. There were countless times during our short play session that we were able to help each other out in different ways. However, the single player seems to be structured in a way that the 'hot-swapping' between characters would be too cumbersome or require too much backtracking. Still, we think that co-op will end up being more enjoyable.
More after the break.

The PALGN crew came away impressed, and from what they have indicated, LEGO Indiana Jones appears to be following in the footsteps of previous LEGO games. With this and the new Indiana Jones movie, Indy fans (like myself) have a lot to look forward to.
