Great idea! Now all we need is some PS3 coop love. One thing at a time.

RE:Official Xbox Live Co-Op Game Night!
First I declined to mow my lawn and instead played GTA IV.Second It's cool that there's a co-op night, but I find the event calendar a bit disappointing in coordination. Other than suggesting what game or type of game to play, and sometimes instructions on how to get in touch with others playing said games, there's nothing that drives it.There should be functionality in XBL to "join others" in that activity, like a lobby you can join. From there you can invite friends to the room, create a private room, browse what titles people are playing to get an idea of what you'd like to take part in. Plus restrictions, so M rated games can't be played on family nights, etc. Then the community will exist within XBL and not erratically manifested from a website every day.

Should do what Destructoid does, since 360 live accounts let you invite friends of your friends, if you setup a "dummy" account that everyone can add to their friends list it'd make it easy to find matches come game night.

Banana Boy, let's not turn this thread (or forum) into a console war. There are numerous other forums for that. Thank you.

First: I declined to mow my lawn and instead played GTA IV.
Second: It's cool that there's a co-op night, but I find the event calendar a bit disappointing in coordination. Other than suggesting what game or type of game to play, and sometimes instructions on how to get in touch with others playing said games, there's nothing that drives it.
There should be functionality in XBL to "join others" in that activity, like a lobby you can join. From there you can invite friends to the room, create a private room, browse what titles people are playing to get an idea of what you'd like to take part in. Plus restrictions, so M rated games can't be played on family nights, etc. Then the community will exist within XBL and not erratically manifested from a website every day.

Well Sony's HD sucks because it's all blurry and their game consuls are copying everything off of Microsoft
