This is a new pattern I've observed the last 2 years. New games within a 3 month period will have a 1 weekend sale price. Plus we're nearing Black Friday, and there are a lot of Pre-Black Friday deals this year.

I picked up quite a few new games on sale just after their release. I remember picking up Red Dead Redemption and Portal 2 one week after their release dates and got $20 off on them - NEW!

Methinks Epic has seen the big decrease in action on their servers from Battlefield 3 and MW3 this month, and here is their answer. I hope it works, cuz I'm getting pissed at trying to wrangle up some friends to finish off Beast on Insane and get the Horde Command Pack achievements.

even at release, there have been some great deals. i got $20 credit from amazon for gears 3. $10 for halo anniversary, and that's a $40 game! i'm definitely liking these trends. it makes the xbox live and netflix hikes a little easier to swallow.
