 Re: Tales of Vesperia
I had this on my gamefly queue but had no idea it was coop. Thanks for informing me, I'm sure the g/f would like to play this with me.

 Re: Tales of Vesperia
No problem, I honestly didn't realize it either. Luckily one of our readers submitted it!

 Re: Tales of Vesperia
Oh yeah. CoOp play has been a key feature (IMO) of the Tales of Series since Tales of Symphonia.
That partially why Tales of Legendia was such a disappointment (No CoOp, no creatures on-map).

 Re: Tales of Vesperia
I am just starting this now. I am hoping the co-op can get me through the pretty shallow story. But man the graphics are amazing.

 Re: Tales of Vesperia
I got excited about the co-op.. then I played the demo. The combat was a bit dissapointing to me. It's been a long time since I've been into JRPG's. I don't necessarily like action-y Rpg's, but I did like the combat system of Eternal Sonata.

 Re: Tales of Vesperia
Yeah, I'm still griping over the Ehmead Hills boss encounter. I know people have said you need to switch characters and not control Yuri...or set the difficulty to Easy...etc. But really, ever since I hit this wall and have had such a difficult time this early in the game, it's soured the entire endeavor and I've not put the disc back in since.
Poor choice, I think, by the devs.

 Re: Tales of Vesperia
Have you tried setting one of your arte moves to tell Estelle to cast first aid?
You're right, I imagine most boss battles would be a total slaughter unless your healers are constantly healing.
