 Re: Kingdom of Keflings
It's a fun little time waster. Basically the gather and build portion of the average strategy game with a few extras. The ability to have 4 players all working to make one city is a definate plus, but it's only online co-op, so that's $10 (800 points) a piece.
Personally I can't see paying $10 for it.

 Re: Kingdom of Keflings
I've yet to check it out, but it does sound interesting. I miss the days of 400 point games on XBL.

 Re: Kingdom of Keflings
I wrote about this over in the general "right/wrong" coop thread, but the lack of local coop just mystifies me in this game. After checking out the demo, it just seems to be the kind of game that would naturally be made for local, something to play with a spouse or kid.

 Re: Kingdom of Keflings
Local (working) co-op I might pay $10 dollars for to further my wife's conversion into a gamer. But the way the game seems to lag in solo play, I'm not sure it would handle local co-op well.
In thinking about it though, this would make a good 4 player game to get your kids into. It's got a simple control system. Less violence than super mario brothers. Simple puzzles.

 Re: Kingdom of Keflings
Am I too late for the discussion?
I was surprised at the price of this game. I figured MS would offer it for free or at discount (<= 400 MS points) to show off the avatar system and how it is able to be incorporated into their games. I suppose the demo handles that, you either have to cough up the dough or use your imagination to fill in the rest.

 Re: Kingdom of Keflings
I've got to check this game out. The more I hear about it the more interested I become plus I'd like to see my avatar walking around in-game. Haven't seen that yet.
