okay i know we all got the gameinformers today and some details were mentioned so ill start like in the movies when u kill someone u pick up thier weapon and only have that clip they were using unless u have same weapon auto cover will have to see how that works didnt say anything about the back to back mode which if its still in game better be inproved hopefully a better online will come into play i see no new characters really so that might be a polus for some and others disapointed but will have to see how this game comes out.

I hope the will have a better selection of masks this time, or the option to design your own mask,(IMO that would be pretty cool)

I enjoyed the first; looking forward to the deeper weapon customization and selection.

Re: [XBox 360] - Army of Two: The 40th Day
Does anyone remember the ammo bags from the first game? I could never tell which ones were which (primary, secondary, special). I hope the ability to swap ammo with your parter is added.
I was also thinking that an in-game storefront for the weapon upgrades would be more immersive. In the first game you just get dumped to a menu in between levels. Hell, just get the RE4 merchant to set up shop.
I'd also like to see experience-based weapon and ability upgrades rather than the strict monetary system. This would reward you for using certain weapons rather than just sticking with what you're comfortable with.
Finally, they should rip horde mode off from Gears 2.

I don't want to sound mean, but please use periods and capitalize the beginning of a sentence. It just hurts my head trying to read that. I hope the next game has deeper mechanics and a better co-op tactics other than "Watch me while my partner shoots you in the back". Plus smarter AI, I don't mean they take more damage, but they can actually co-op with their buddies. And NO charging like fodder. Less arcade-style combat and more tactical options. Remove Back-to-back, it's just pointless if it's only done at specific moments and cannot be activated dynamically. Bigger levels with more than two ways to get around. I agree about an experience system added to the weapons. That way you can see whether your partner favors or is more skilled in one weapon category over another.

That would be cool if it had system link this time around, Only thing that sucked about the first one is the option for local lan play.

After your lengthy speech last night while we were trying to get the last 5 terrorists on R6V2, this just seems ironic. Not untrue, but still ironic. Much love.

Re: [XBox 360] - Army of Two: The 40th Day
I always liked the idea about upgrading armor, masks, etc. Would love to see it improved upon here! Also, I may be the only one to mention it, but I'd like a "swear filter" similar to Gears 2.

Re: [XBox 360] - Army of Two: The 40th Day
Well, I was trying to get my buddy to join me in private chat, not party. So I was kinda stuck in a odd position. But hey, that's what you get for being my Xbox friend and letting me into your party Also, what was my speech about? FYI, I'm currently working on that impression I'll PM you.

Re: [XBox 360] - Army of Two: The 40th Day
From the date list I saw In Game Stop its' set to release after Christmas 09', but some think they may try to bump it up to get the xmas shoppers. I would also like to be able to make custom masks. I did have fun with the gun pimping lol. I abhor (yes...even despise) the back to back scenes, but since the game is all about co-op I have the feeling I'll be seeing more of it in the next one too. Played all modes and for some reason we kept thinking at the end of hardcore we would get uber weapons of mass destruction lol...only to find all it did was unlock all the weapons...which by that point we already had plus tons of money left to spare. So hopefully, there will be more incentive to beat all the modes and more stuff to spend our hard earned cash on. More rifle ammo would be nice too I loved the first one obviously, wouldn't have played all 3 modes if not =D

Re: [XBox 360] - Army of Two: The 40th Day
If this game has a bigger wider selection of weapons (With alot more upgrades), alot more gear, bigger levels, smarter AI & NO stupid region lock...then it will turn out be better than the first for sure

Re: [XBox 360] - Army of Two: The 40th Day
The first Army of Two is still one of my favorite 360 games. I thought the "pulling agro" concept was really set it apart from other third-person shooters. One of my gripes with the first game was that there were exclusive guns that you could only get from a pre-order code or something like that. Because I picked up this game later, I'll never be able to get those guns now. I don't even know what guns they were, but the fact that I can't get them annoys my "Gotta catch 'em all" mentality. That's right... pokeguns. Smithanwessonmon, I choose you!
Did anyone get the download codes for those guns, and would you kindly tell me how those guns were?
Definitely picking up The 40th Day when it comes out, lots of co-op fun to be had.

Was a neat concept but ammo for it was scarce and made it impractical. On a side note, I did pre-order he game but the code only unlocked the shielded SMG thing. I argued with Gamestop for a while then just gave up and had fun with the game.

I read that they made the co-op events less scripted, meaning you can use them whenever. I really hope they improved co-op snipe... it was pretty useless in the first game.
