Anyone here play this? I tried the demo tonight. Very interesting, much easier for me than the old cards were! Felt I could keep up. That said, not sure if I'd really enjoy this one long term or not.

Is co-op available in the demo? I've thought about grabbing it to see if Tam would enjoy it, but haven't got around to it yet.

It's got it shown there, so I'll say yes but I haven't clicked it to see if it'll tell me otherwise. Check it out and see. On a side note Courtney, have you ever played the board game Talisman? I'm picking it up soon since my wife said she'd play! Maybe Tam would go for that? Leave the game board set up and return to it as you have the time? Sounds like fun to me.

I've heard of it, but never played it. I think the old board game Dungeon! shared some similar characteristics and I loved it as a kid. Let me know what you think of it, I'm always looking for new board/card games to try. We haven't played any new ones for awhile, but I'd dig getting back into some.

I havent played the card game in years, so I wasnt familiar with the cards by picture anymore, and I had to literally Zoom on every card in play every few rounds to remember and play more tactfully, there fore, I didn't enjoy it as much as the normal MTG card game.

Well it looks like the co-op is offline only, so never mind. I will not purchase this game.

That's what I hated about playing with a bunch of people who had been playing for years. They all knew what the card were just by glancing at them.



Did you play with it to see how it works? I haven't downloaded the demo yet, but that aspect seemed interesting.

Yes, the mechanics were interesting but I never couch co-op, so this one isn't a buy. I don't think I'd enjoy it enough by myself to justify a purchase either.

The one flaw I see in the co-op system is that two cards can't be played at the same time. It could be interesting to play through the campaign though.

I'm 99% sure you can do 2 on 2 battles online. While it's not exactly co-op, you can play as a team online.

I play it =) Disappointed you couldn't fully customize your deck but its still really fun.
There's a "co-op campaign" which is a couch co-op and then you can couch co-op against two other couch co-opers via XBL in a Two-Headed Gaints game. Other then that there's only 1v1 and 3 and 4 player free for alls.

You also cant get the robot deck. >:(

Yeah. I was so excited cause other then white, artifacts are what I play in real life so I got pissed not being able to use an uber deck like that one.
