 FIFA 09
Hi Guys, I've just found co-optimus and found what a wonderful site it is, but I've noticed in the PS3 games section there was no mention of FIFA 09. I bought this game for the reason that it had up to 7 player co-op, and would like to recommend it to be added to the list. The 'is there a game missing?' link did not work for my computer for some reason.
FIFA 09 Has local co-op with up to 7 players offline. By this I mean you can achieve trophies and in game achievements in manager mode for example.
It is unable to use system link, nor does the game use split screen of any sort.
However, it does allow 'couch co-op' on the same screen over the internet, with 2 people on one machine. The game allows a second player to drop in or out at any time, has no co-op specific content and single player content is available in co-op.
The mods of this site, please add this game to the list, but correct any information if I made a mistake. As for FIFA 10 I do not have the game and therefore I cannot tell you, but I would assume that it has similar co-op functions.

 Re: FIFA 09
I am interested in getting a soccer game, but FIFA 09 does not have my national team. PES does. Do you know if PES allows for 7 players to be connected to the same console? Having 7-player offline co-op sems like the perfect recipe for a party game.
If PES cannot support 7 players I might wait until FIFA world cup 2010. They should have most national teams there (and will hopefully maintain support the 7 player offline co-op feature)
I am not sure how to add a new game to the list. I also know they do not have Battle Tanks in their database.

 Re: FIFA 09
By the way, you cannot have more than 2 players couch co-op in an online game? That seems kind of disappointing.

 Re: FIFA 09
Actually, I played again last night, I connected a third controller to play online as a 'guest', and it worked. By that logic, I'm assuming you can have a host and 6 guests, 7 players in total, the same as the offline game.
