Any info regarding a decent offline coop rpg would be gratefully recieved,
sacred2 would be ideal. Can someone tell me if it can be played coop using just one console. ii would also prefer to play on a single screen (not split screen)

MANY THANX IN ADVANCE FOR ANY RECOMMENDATIONS OR HELP GIVEN

Sacred 2 is a lot of fun. It has two player shared screen co-op.

Another good RPG is Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom. I'm pretty sure that was shared screen co-op also.

Thats cool m8..thanks for the quick response. i have played and love sacred2, but was unsure of the how the offline coop was setup. i'll have a look at Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom, i love rpg, solo has always been fun but coop online or offline is a whole new experience.. thanks again,

You should be able to get it on the cheap. I think I paid something like $10 for it as a used game from Hollywood Video about a year ago.

I'm not to sure if you like Japanese Rpgs. But there is a great game called Eternal Sonata that has two player co-op offline. You can assign other person to play as the characters they want in battle. There is quite a bit of lack of co-op offline rpgs for the ps3 which is unfortunte.

All the "Tales of" games have a 4 player co-op shared screen, but only during the battles. My brother and i have a lot of fun with the games of that series since the PS1.

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance is a really great game that I highly recommend (I'm sure Bob will back me up on this). There's a lot of great stuff about it, but I think the koolest thing is that you can upgrade your character on the fly without pausing the game and stalling your partner every time you level up or pick up equipment =D

Borderlands/Borderlands 2 (if you dont mind FPS)

LOTR games, Dungeon Crusaders.

I would say D&D:Daggerdale, but it sucks and is not worth 15 bucks. Maybe if it drops to 5 or free for PSplus members.
