Please keep all discussion of Resistance: Fall of Man 2 for the Playstation 3 in this thread.

With R2 coming, anyone interested in starting up a Co-optimus clan? In advance of 8 player co-op, we could get some clan time going in R1 to brush up on Resistance's gameplay.

I'd be down for that. If R1 was any indication, I would suggest trying to fill as many slots of the potential 30(?) filled. Makes our lives much easier.

Supposedly beta confirmation emails have been going out today, and people have been sighted playing the beta.

I'm in for either the co-op campaign as well as the team based multiplayer.

I can't wait to play the beta. I subscribed to a Qore for a year to get a guaranteed invite. The Qore exclusive beta invites aren't available until 9/1 I've heard and then we have 30 days to play.

Well, no matter the circumstances I'm anxious to play R2. It's by far my most anticipated game this year.

I might be interested in this as well, though I'm not yet sure if I'm going to get this game. Right now, my list of shooters is looking pretty heavy, with SOCOM, Killzone 2 and, if I remember correctly, MAG all coming out for the PlayStation 3 in the next year or so.

Still, depending on how the final product turns out, Resistance 2 is still a very real possibility for me.

Anyone else plan on buying this game? I'd love to get a cooptimus session going with all the coop opportunities in that title.

CE is pre-ordered on Amazon, but that won't arrive until 2 days later. Still, I'll try to join the clan, but I definitely want to do the co-op campaign.

I've pre-ordered the collector's edition from Gamestop. I'll be in, until I get my Lancer edition Gears 2 from Amazon on 11/12.

Put me down for some co-op. I will get R2 on day 1.

I just read a post that said that R2 will not have split screen. Need to change the co-op split screen option on this site.

I really liked the split screen RFOM.

Are you serious!!??? Split screen is something I was really hoping for. If they dont have split screen, I'm going to be really dissapointed.

I received my public beta code last night via e-mail and downloaded it while I slept. I installed it this morning, loaded a patch (version 1.02) and then fired the game up. To my pleasant surprise, there is a coop mode in the public beta. Yahoo!!!

Anyone else in the beta and want to check out the coop portion?
