 Re: [Wii] - Boom Blox
Does this game have confirmed co-op play? I knew it had multiplayer, but I wasn't sure if it had a co-op option.

 Re: [Wii] - Boom Blox
I want to hear more about this one after it got a decent MetaReview on Joystiq. Anyone played it yet? EDIT: Hit the official site and saw some good game play footage. There is 2 player co-op, you can see the video under Multiplayer Play. Looks very interesting!

I'm strongly considering picking this game up. I'll post impressions if I do. Keep hearing more and more positive things about it.

 Re: [Wii] - Boom Blox
This game is a lot of fun. A must own for wii owners IMO.
Lots of options for co-op (local only)
My wife and I had a blast playing through the co-op modes of this game.
You can get this game for pretty cheap too which is always a good thing.

 Re: [Wii] - Boom Blox
Totally worth the $50. Excellent party game, decent co-op and one of the few games that coul ONLY be done on the wii.

http://gonintendo.com/?p=55896Apparently, it was a temporary price drop. If you have gamefly you can get it for $33 bucks. I purchased it at costco for like 44 when it came out. Its a fun game.

 Re: [Wii] - Boom Blox
Agreed. Boom Blox is one of the best games available on the Wii in my opinion. It's easily accessible and offers quite a few different game modes to play all of which can become challenging to master especially in the later stages. Between the single player and multiplayer modes there is a lot of fun to be had with this gem.

Boom Blox is next on my rental list since I'm shipping back RE: Umbrella Chronicles on Monday. I'll let you know what I think, it looks like a great one to play with the wife!

 Re: [Wii] - Boom Blox
Good idea... Its one of my wifes favorite wii games. And my in-laws are totally addicted to it... they wanted to buy a wii just for that game alone.

 Re: [Wii] - Boom Blox
Boom Blox is one of my favorite Wii games. When my friend and I first played it, we spent literally over four hours playing through it, losing complete track of time. It is a really fun, addictive game with many hours of playtime from all the different modes. Also, the controls were amazingly spot-on, and I never had a problem with them or the camera. It is definitely worth checking out.

 Re: [Wii] - Boom Blox
We liked it, but only just enough. I didn't care for the throwing games, they got tiring pretty quickly. The Jenga (spelling?) style games were fun though, especially in co-op. Lot of strategy there.

 Re: [Wii] - Boom Blox
Yeah, I definitely liked pulling the blocks out best, but I also enjoyed throwing the balls too. Theres also that one mode that is like target shooting. Whats really interesting is the co-op pull blocks, where you're both going at the same time. You get a lot of arguments then...

 Re: [Wii] - Boom Blox
ha ha.. yeah the co-op pull blocks is fun. My wife and I would come up with these crazy methods of pulling blocks from both sides at the same time to keep the thing balanced. It worked some of the time, but a lot of the time, one of us would screw it up.
Lots of fun. I wish they would have kept the head tracking easter egg in the game, I was interested to see how that would work out.
Also, I read somewhere that they are working on a boom blox 2 now. Hopefully it will be just as fun as the original. Online co-op and competitive play would be awesome, but I dont want to get my hopes up for it.

 Re: [Wii] - Boom Blox
Boom Blox 2 would definitely be a must-buy in my book. It would be very awesome with online play.
