What is this all about?

When Left4Dead was released it brought about a new form of co-operative gaming. Unlike other team based versus games, L4D requires/demands that you work together as a team. In Team Fortress 2, an entire team could consist of good players playing on their own, watching their own backs, and still win.

In L4D, the same team would lose very quickly to a team of average players who are working together. You simply cannot win in L4D unless you work together.

Competitive Co-op is born.

Why do you exist?

Like other clans, we want to form a group of members who play reasonably regularly and like to play competitively. The difference in this clan is that we all come from a different perspective. First and foremost we like working together when playing games, but like applying this philosophy when playing against other people.

Generally speaking, other clans start with players who like to play competitively (most likely on their own), who then find themselves wanting to play with other players in the form of a clan.

Due to our co-op roots, we tend to have a more laid back attitude toward competitive play, but do take it seriously from time to time.

At the very least, we hope to promote the differences between team death match and competitive co-op, and co-op gaming in general.

So how do I join?

The only true competitive co-op that exists at the moment (in our opinion) is the Left 4 Dead series. As such we will use this game to assess your ability in working with and treating other people (including us), and how you deal with specific scenarios in game.

This could be in the form of scavenge or versus mode.

You don't necessarily have to play to be a part of Team Rainbow Friends, as I mentioned earlier that part of our mission is to promote competitive co-op. If you want to join our campaign, simply getting in touch.

Final decisions on active members (in terms of playing) will be made by the founders of the clan, taking into consideration comments from all members. All are welcome to promote competitive co-op.
