No Lie, Portal 2 Delayed Again

Postby bapenguin » Thu Nov 18, 2010 8:41 pm

Hold Me!  We're delayed.

What once was Fall, then became Winter, and now is Spring - so is the Portal 2 release date.  In a move that should shock absolutely no one familiar with Valve, their products, and release dates, the company has moved the game from February 10th, 2011 to an April 18th release date.

This news comes from industry news man Jeff Keighley who is prepping a ton of goodies for the Spike VGAs early next month.   According to him this delay is actually the shortest delay Valve has ever put out.  We don't consider that any sort of triumph.

Portal 2 will launch on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC with a two player co-op puzzle solving mode.

Good! I need a break. Maybe by the time it comes out I'll be caught up with wth games that are out now.
While on the forums I type hard and fast. Please don't hold my typos against me. I'm trying to use my meager powers for good. If my advice gets you killed, I apologize in advance.

No biggie. As long as it's still coming to PS3, I can have my cake and eat it too!

I can wait. If it's even half as good as the first, it'll be one of 2011's best whenever it comes out. While I'm at it, I wanna know what happened to HL2E3.

Also, I'll take this opportunity to point out that in the first game, you get the gold medal for getting through Testchamber 15 in 15 portals. I can do it in thirteen.
