Win a Copy of RAGE and the Digital Strategy Guide from Prima Games

Postby bapenguin » Wed Oct 05, 2011 8:18 am

RAGE is out now on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC with a two player co-op mode called Legends of the Wastelands - you can check out our review of the game right here. To celebrate the release we're running a contest, giving away one copy of the game on the platform of your choice along with a digital strategy guide supplied by Prima Games.  The guide covers single players, multiplayer and the co-op modes, and you can read a bit about the creation process of it over at the BethBlog.

So how do you win a copy of id Software's latest shooter along with the digital guide?  It's a simple as leaving a comment below.  Of course, not any comment would do.

I would go with "The Complete Sherlock Holmes: All 4 Novels and 56 Short Stories" by Arthur Conan Doyle - I can re-read the Sherlock Holmes stories multiple times without getting bored of them.

Whenever, wherever, whatever you have to survive, there is one man that knows it all, so the book would be:

Mud, Sweat and Tears by Bear Grylls

Don't you agree? :D

I'd pick the US Army Survival Manual: FM 21-76

I would of course bring a copy of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Just think of the soothing effect of the big friendly letters spelling "DON'T PANIC" on the cover. I would also bring a towel.

Zombie Survival Guide - preferably a hardcover edition for brain bashing if required.

Definitely the Bible. The Bible has absolute authority over our lives because this Book does not merely contain the Word of God, but that it is the Word of God in its sum and in its parts. We need the Bible.

A Memory of Light, the 14th and final book in the Wheel of Time series.

I've got 13 down. I need to know how it ends!

That's easy...I would print out the official Prima Strategy Guide. This way I would be totally ready to survive in Rage land.

Don't know if this really counts as it's a series of books, but the US Army Rangers training manuals. They pretty much have everything you need to know to survive and fight off hoards of enemies.

Gah. BigBadBob and Shazoo already stole my first two picks!

So I guess my third choice would be Emily Post's 1922 classic, "Etiquette". Because from what I've seen, post-apocalyptic worlds are sorely lacking of even the most basic civility.
2013 planned purchases:
Payday 2
GTA V
Space Hulk
Splinter Cell Blacklist

Would a compilation of all Playboy magazine issues be considered a book?
