Diablo has paved the way for the Action RPG genre and Blizzard is recognizing this legacy this week with the Diablo 15 year anniversary celebration. Make sure to check out the extended retrospective video that is an extensive video covering the whole story of Diablo, the evolution of the series, and the timeline up until now. The video will have fans of the series bleeding with nostalgia and if you have yet to play a Diablo game, it is a great way to catch up on the 15 years of lore that you missed.

Assuming they get this out before my kids go to college (they're in Junior High...it's a possibility o.O), this would be an awesome, awesome couch co-op experience. *Fingers Crossed*

FINALLY. Now it's a matter of how long til release. They could probably port Diablo 1 & 2 to XBLA/PSN in the development time it's going to take.

cool, I'm not a huge fan of click to move games, so this should play alot better for me on controller, hopefully we get couch co-op as well.

I hope it will be couch co-op as well as System Link co-op on consoles /at least/.

BTW now I'm a bit afraid. Only 4 player co-op, no potions but health orbs, the game is coming to consoles... these are not good signs I guess /but maybe I'm wrong, I've completed Diablo 1 on my PS1 with my bro in co-op, it was fun/

As far as controls go it should be fairly simple. Runic Games did an awesome job porting Torchlight to XBLA.

Sweet! I already accepted the fact that I would have to buy a new PC to play Diablo 3,
but now couch-coop for the PS3 maybe? That would be pure awesomeness and a preorder for sure!
