Good news PlayStation 3 owners!  Mass Effect 3's weekend XP events are now available on your platform!  I told you it was a good time to buy the game.  This weekend's challenge is called Operation Exorcist and you can net you and your co-op buddies some sweet packs of goodies.


Rally your allies for the upcoming Bounty Weekend with the following challenges:

-- Allied Goal: Kill 1,000,000 Cerberus Phantoms. Successful completion of the Allied Goal will grant all players a Victory Pack.

-- Squad Goal: Survive until extraction on any map and any enemy on Gold difficulty. Successful completion of the squad goal awards aCommendation Pack to all squad mates.

Please be sure to set “Upload Gameplay Feedback” to ON in the online options to be able to participate in Operation Exorcist.


Operation Excorcist, like the previous XP events, takes place in Mass Effect 3's 4 player online co-op mode.  It will run from which will run from Friday, April 27 at 6PM PST to Monday, April 30 at 5AM PST on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

It's a community objective. The planet at large has to kill 1,000,000 phantoms, not just you.

In any case... I killed about 100 phantoms this weekend.

Yeah, the community goal is always the total number across all platforms. One million across three platforms will be super easy.
