Is it me or are have these PixelJunk games been decreasing in quality ever since Monsters. I think I speak for many when I say: we really just want Monsters 2 at this point!

No, it's not just you. Nothing they've done since has come close to being as awesomely fun as Monsters, though Eden at least was very interesting. I don't really think 4AM should be lumped in with the rest of their games, though. It seems much more like a musical side project, and though it's not my thing and I doubt I'll ever buy it, I do respect it and I appreciate that they made something so cool and different. But yeah, sad to say, I'd really love to see Monsters 2 at this point.

And what ever happened to PixelJunk Dungeon Crawler?

I'd argue that PixelJunk shooter is the best game in their lineup, but that may be a personal preference. It has the charm and style combined with a really tight puzzle/shooter mechanic.

I finished the first one, but while I bought the second, I only ever played a little way through it. They both felt too… I don't know, sterile, and maybe a little monotonous as well, to be tremendously fun. But like you say, it's a personal preference, a matter of taste.

Locke - I'd definitely put Shooter in second place (behind Monsters), but my issue with Shooter was that the replay wasn't as strong as Monsters. With Monsters, I still go back to that game to play levels with the level-generator thing (that they added in the expansion). I haven't really touched Shooter 1 or 2 since I beat them.
