This was a surprisingly fun, though short, game. The setup is simple, eat enough small fish in each level to grow while avoid being eaten by bigger fish. Once you've reached the maximum size for a level, you move on to the next one. The campaign (same for single and coop) has 60 levels, including some bonus levels and boss fights. It actually becomes more challenging the more players you have. Your growth progress in each level is reset each time a player is eaten. So with more players, an increasing likelihood of having your meter reset. Later in the game, you can suck fish towards you to eat faster. Unfortunately, sometimes you may end up sucking some form of death directly into yourself or one of your coop partners. Players also share the same pool of lives, so if you have one good player and one not-so-good player, the good player isn't necessarily always left to finish a level off by themselves. We beat it in just two evenings of playing. But, if you're looking for a light-hearted diversion from your normal games, this is probably worth checking out. At least try the demo.
