In the latest update, the free survival DLC is getting enhanced with 10 new maps and randomized gameplay. At last, co-op tank action for the masses

Battlezone: Gold Edition Co-Op Impressions

Two years ago, Rebellion revived the classic tank shooter Battlezone as a cooperative virtual reality game. While our own Nick Puleo considered it a quality (if overpriced) co-op game, players without VR headsets always had to sit things out. Now Battlezone: Gold Edition has arrived on console and PC without the need for VR, and we’ve got full co-op impressions to go with it.

Our Weekend In Gaming: A Love Supreme

The attention of the Co-Opticrew is devoted to titles both new and old this weekend.  The first of these is open world, third person, centered on base defense, and (somehow) not State of Decay 2.  The second is a loot shooter whose fanbase can't seem to determine whether or not they actually like it.  Why don't you take a gander at the list below and see if you can suss out which is which?

Atlus Extoling the Virtues of Couch Co-Op in Dragon's Crown Pro Video

Dragon's Crown Pro dropped onto the PlayStation 4 this week, and if you're wondering if it's any good, then I recommend checking out our Co-Op Review of the original when it hit the PS3 oh so many years ago. The only real difference between the two versions is the updated/improved graphics, which look even better now. If you're still wondering whether the game is any good, then let me tell you a tale of two young lovers...

Who needs a campaign?

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Revealed, Will Have 3 Zombie Maps at Launch

Yesterday, Activision and Treyarch revealed the next installment in the Call of Duty series, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, and things are a bit different this time. It was rumored the title wouldn't have any campaign and would be multiplayer only, which was confirmed by the announcement yesterday and further explained by the developer in an interview with Polygon. The good news is that the game will launch with a Zombies mode and it sounds like it may be a little bit "richer" in its offerings than in year's past.

Rainbow 6 Siege Is Free To Try Out This Weekend

Of all the games in need of a "free weekend", I wouldn't necessarily place Rainbow 6 Siege near the top of the list.  In fact, it's done quite well for itself in the two and a half years since its original release.  Having carved out its own healthy community, the game has chugged along, planning out and then delivering on its post-launch content year after year.
